Elected Officers

President

James A. (Jim) Holcomb Jr., CPL/ESA

Mr. Holcomb has 34 years of industry experience including work experience with Corsair Energy, Inc., Quicksilver Resources, Inc., Union Pacific Resources Co., Burnett Oil Company, Snyder Oil Company (now Range Resources).¬ He has a full range of experience in all aspects of prospect development, land management and environmental, field operations and drilling, as well as acquisitions and divestitures. Jim is currently the President of Colt Exploration Co., Inc. here in Fort Worth and holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Texas at Arlington and has studied in the Petroleum Land Management Program at the University of Texas at Austin. He is an active member of the American Association of Professional Landmen and Fort Worth Association of Professional Landmen.¬ Jim earned his CPL by examination in 1989 and his ESA certification in 1993.

 

First Vice-President

Chuck Walton

Chuck is currently working for EOG Resources, Inc. as a Landman in the Barnett Shale. Chuck has been an active member of the American Association of Professional Landmen and Fort Worth Association of Professional Landmen since 2008. Chuck graduated from Sam Houston State University with a Bachelors in Business Administration degree. Chuck resides in Keller, Texas with his wife and three children.

 

Second Vice President

Vidal Quevedo

Vidal is currently a Senior Staff Landman with XTO Energy Inc., and has been with XTO since 2007 working in the Barnett and Marcellus Shale Regions.¬ Prior to his time with XTO, Vidal worked as a field broker with Holland Acquisitions.¬ Vidal is a member of the AAPL as well as the FWAPL and MLBC chapters of the AAPL, and received his CPL in 2011.¬ Vidal received his undergraduate in Economics from the University of Texas at Austin and his Master of Business Administration from Texas Christian University.¬ Vidal is married to his wife Stephanie of 8 years and together they have a 2 year-old son named JW with another child on the way.

Blake Hueske

Blake is a Senior Land Manager and Director of Operations (contract) with Bryson Kuba, LP, a diversified Professional Land Management Company based in Fort Worth and with operations across the US.¬ He graduated from Texas A&M University in College Station in 2005 with a degree in Biomedical Science and has worked with Bryson Kuba continuously since then.¬ This year Blake and his wife Emily happily welcomed their first child, Tate, into their family.

Dustin Lamb

Dustin Lamb has spent over seven years actively involved in the oil and gas industry. He spent most of his time as an independent broker working in oil and gas plays in Texas, West Virginia and Pennsylvania. He is knowledgeable in all forms of title, negotiation of leases, mineral purchasing, farm out agreements and business development. Currently he is working at XTO Energy in Fort Worth, Texas.

Brittanie Bailey

Brittanie is currently working as a Landman for Holland Services, and has worked in the industry for over 5 years.¬ She has been an active member of the Fort Worth Association of Professional Landmen since 2008, and has served on the board since 2011.¬ Brittanie graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a Communication Degree in 2005.¬ She currently resides in Fort Worth, Texas.

 

Charles Gamez

Charles is currently serving on the Entertainment, Community Affairs and Hospitality Committees of FWAPL. He is also an active member of the American Association of Professional Landmen. He is a Project Manager/Senior Landman with Holland Services.

 

Cody D. Lyon

Cody¬ is a founding member of Veracity Land Services, LLC and also currently serves as a managing partner. Mr. Lyon has obtained his Bachelors of Business Administration in Management from Tarleton State University and has since gone on to obtain his Masters of Science in Leadership and Management, also from Tarleton State University.¬ Mr. Lyon¬ also worked as an Independent Landman gaining experience in a variety of locations.¬ His experience as a Landman has allowed him to be responsible for numerous land related activities, such as acquisition, title, curative, and contract negotiation and execution.¬ Mr. Lyon is an active member of the American Association of Professional Landmen (AAPL), Fort Worth Association of Professional Landmen (FWAPL), Houston Association of Professional Landmen (HAPL), and the Wichita Association of Professional Landmen (WAPL).
